Technical Requirements for Watching Seminars

 

We do require Flash player 9 or above, and a modern browser (Firefox, Safari, IE 7 or above, Opera, etc).

What are the minimum recommendations for H.264 video streaming High Definition (HD) Playback

 

  • A high-speed internet connection, preferably with at least 700+ Kbps for continuous playback is recommended. Chances are that a dialup connection will be choppy and rebuffer quite frequently, or may not work at all.
  • Also, it is important that this Internet connection is not shared unless you have higher connectivity speeds.
  • Our Automated system has the following bitrates available, and depending on your connection speed you will automatically be fed the best video bitrate for your connection.
    • 1600 Bitrate HD
    • 1300 Bitrate HD
    • 1100 Bitrate HD
    • 1000 Bitrate SD
    • 750 Bitrate SD
    • 550 Bitrate SD
    • 300 Bitrate SD
  • Remember the slower your connection speed is the lower quality your video will be.
